PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an element having a long lifetime in an organic electroluminescent element having a light emitting layer formed by wet deposition methods. SOLUTION: In the organic electroluminescent element having a positive electrode, a negative electrode formed so as to face the positive electrode, a light emitting layer formed between the positive electrode and the negative electrode and formed by the wet deposition methods, and at least one organic layer formed so as to come into close contact with the light emitting layer, when the capacitance of the organic electroluminescent element is measured, a peak in voltage lower than voltage upon starting light emission of the light emitting layer of a primary differential curve of voltage of the capacitance is measured.
