PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a pixel tube used for a field emission display device. SOLUTION: The pixel tube used for a field emission display device includes a sealed container having a light transmitting portion, a positive electrode which faces the light transmitting portion and is housed in the sealed container, a negative electrode, and a shielding electrode which is attached to an inner wall or an outer wall of the sealed container and surrounds a CNT wire. The negative electrode faces the positive electrode and is housed in the container and is provided with a negative electrode supporting portion and the CNT wire.
