PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method and device of manufacturing an organic EL device for solving at least a part of the problem of not always providing an excellent element characteristic caused by not always performing proper processing on an organic EL element of the whole light emitting colors on a substrate, even if simple processing is performed to the substrate, since a proper processing condition is different with every organic EL element of the respective light emitting colors. SOLUTION: In this manufacturing method of the organic EL device, a plurality of the organic EL elements are provided. The respective organic EL elements have an electrode and a light emitting layer of at least one layer. The method of manufacturing the organic EL device includes at least a first group having the plurality of the organic EL elements for emitting the light of a first color and a second group having the plurality of the organic EL elements for emitting the light of a second color different from the first color, and comprises a treating process of performing surface treatment corresponding to a color of the light emitted by the organic EL element with every electrode.
