摘要 PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce the potential difference between a voltage value of charged voltage charged to an image signal line at a part near a drain driver and a voltage value of charged voltage charged to the image signal line at a distal end part far from the drain driver within a pre-charge period. SOLUTION: This liquid crystal display device has a plurality of pixels, a plurality of image signal lines for applying gradation voltage to the plurality of pixels, and a driving means for outputting predetermined pre-charge voltage at the beginning of a horizontal scanning period and then outputting gradation voltage corresponding to display data. In a method for driving the liquid crystal display device, a period of outputting the pre-charge voltage to each image signal line from the driving means is made different according to a distance between a scanned line and the driving means. The period of outputting the pre-charge voltage to each image signal line from the driving means is made gradually longer as the distance between the scanned line and the driving means becomes longer.
