PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a vehicle body side structure capable of suppressing biting of a pair of front and rear doors provided on a vehicle body side at their opposing parts in a side impact of a vehicle. SOLUTION: In the vehicle body side structure, a lever 48 is fitted to a B pillar 16 provided between a front side door 12 and a rear side door 14. The lever 48 is turnable around the axis along the vertical direction with respect to a vehicle body with a pin 50 being a rotary shaft. A front side arm part 48C of the lever 48 is arranged close to and opposite to the inner side in the vehicle width direction with respect to the front side door 12. A rear side arm part 48B of the lever 48 is arranged close to and opposite to the inner side in the vehicle width direction with respect to the rear side door 14. In the lever 48, the length L2 from the center of rotation to a fore end of the rear side arm part 48B is set to be larger than the length L1 from the center of rotation (the axis of the pin 50) to a fore end of the front side arm part 48C.
