PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a garter, which can be easily detached from the socks when detached from them, because a fitting for properly arranging and fixing the socks, formed by using a well-known small fitting, is formed of a synthetic resin material, which prevents damage to the socks even if the piece is handled in a disorderly manner, and which prevents a person from getting injured, even if he/she accidentally treads on a chip after detachment. SOLUTION: This piece is a single article which is integrally formed of the synthetic resin material. The piece comprises upper and lower walls 1 and 2 which are arranged in upper and lower positions with a prescribed space s in between, and a rear wall 3 for connecting both the walls 1 and 2 together at one end. The upper wall 1 is equipped with a pressing sandwich piece 5 which makes an entry into the space s via a bendable hinge portion 4 on the side of its free end, and an extended wall 6 which is extended in the direction of the extension of the upper wall 1.
