PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a dustpan which is provided with drainage holes on the collecting section for discharging liquid contained in the collecting objects to prevent the liquid discharged from the drainage holes dribble along a handle. SOLUTION: The handle H is installed at the back side of the collecting section C. Several drainage holes D are installed on the upper half of a rear wall R of the collecting section C to discharge liquid to the back side. A projected wall W for stopping dripping of discharged liquid is installed on the back side of the rear wall R in a way that it surrounds the upper part and both sides of the drainage holes D in a portal form. A multitude of movement preventing rectangular grooves G for preventing dust collected in the collecting section C from moving to the drainage holes D side is installed below the drainage holes D on the surface of the rear wall R in two horizontal lines in parallel with each other. The liquid stopping recessed section E is provided on the back side of the rear wall R and liquid evacuating holes J that open towards the inside of the projected wall W are provided on the bottom.
