<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a core reduced in size and hence a current sensor reduced in size, and to extend a measurable range of current of the current sensor. <P>SOLUTION: The core for current sensor is used in the current sensor constituted so as to detect a current by detecting a magnetic field generated according to a current of an object to be measured by a Hall element 5, and forms a magnetic path for the magnetic field. Because the core body 1 is formed by injection molding a resin 4 mixed with a granular soft magnetic material 3, the core body 1 is reduced in size and hence the current sensor is reduced in size.
