<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To enable prevention of unauthorized access to data stored in a non-volatile memory to be prevented, and to enable to dispense with control of complicated access limitation relating to the non-volatile memory by each application, in an IC card. <P>SOLUTION: Access relating to the non-volatile memory by the application is inhibited, and control of access limit relating to the whole area of the non-volatile memory is performed by a card OS. In order to perform the application, transition from the card OS to the application takes place in a state that the card OS inhibits access relating to the whole area of the non-volatile memory, and then the card OS allows access to the non-volatile memory when a data access request is issued from the application to the card OS. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2009,JPO&INPIT |
