<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To appropriately attain high resolution of inputted image signals, using small number of frames. <P>SOLUTION: The image signal processing apparatus executes inputting of four image frames input, calculating the phase difference calculated in the horizontal and vertical directions for a plurality of combinations of two input image frames selectable from among the four input image frames inputted calculating a plurality of sampling phase difference data, using the plurality of calculated sampling phase difference data to generate four high pixel-number image data having more pixels than those in the input image frames, while changing the positions of image data of the input image frames; a plurality of phase shift processings are executed for each of the image data of the four generated high pixel-number image frames and generate 16 pieces of image data, and the generated 16 image data are multiplied by a plurality of coefficients calculated, based on the plurality of sampling phase difference data to generate one image frame constituted of more pixels than those in the input image frames. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2009,JPO&INPIT |
