PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a navigation apparatus and a navigation program allowing efficient input operation for a destination search. SOLUTION: In consideration that the search target is limited to particular words, words that are shared in the reading of a plurality of sets of destination data are stored as search keywords. Meanwhile, search keywords are appended to individual sets of destination data that are to be the search objects. In execution of the search for a destination, keywords that match a part of the input characters are narrowed down and displayed as selectable keys. The user can eliminate input operations by selecting the relevant keyword. Reduction in the number of operations becomes possible by selecting keywords having three or more characters by a total of two operations, that is, the input of at least one character and its selection.
