PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for warping yarn beams that facilitates threading a string material through the drawing end of the yarn beams in the process of winding multiple yarn beams by a winder into a sheet form. SOLUTION: The method is used for a sizing dryer for sizing and drying a yarn sheet drawn from multiple yarn beams 6. Specifically, this method includes the following steps: A group 5 of yarns from multiple yarn feeders 4 are guided to a winder 3 including a reed 13 and wound as a yarn sheet to form yarn beams. In this method, as the reed, a stepped reed where step parts 21 have high lower side of a yarn-passing part 19 among reed needles 18 and nonstep parts 22 have low lower side of the yarn-passing part 19 are formed at predetermined intervals is used. After ending winding the yarn beams, the group of yarns and the stepped reed are relatively moved vertically to hit part of the group of yarns on the top of the stepped part, the rest of the group of yarns are threaded on the nonstep part and divided into two or more unit yarn sheets up and down, a dividing string material is inserted between the multiple unit yarn sheets, and the respective unit yarn sheets are cut off between the stepped reed and the string material.
