PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide "an on-vehicle device" and "a vehicle speed processing program" capable of performing information processing based on the speed of the vehicle not relying upon the vehicle. SOLUTION: A utilization vehicle speed sensor detection-switching part 112 specifies a type of the vehicle speed sensor provided on the vehicle based on the input exclusive lane integration vehicle speed pulse number and the on-vehicle bus integration vehicle speed pulse number. When the vehicle speed sensor transmits the vehicle speed pulse, the exclusive lane vehicle speed sensor vehicle speed-traveling distance calculation part 114 inputs the exclusive lane integration vehicle speed pulse number and calculates the vehicle speed and the traveling distance based on the exclusive lane integration vehicle speed pulse number. When the vehicle speed sensor transmits the vehicle speed information message, the on-vehicle bus vehicle speed sensor vehicle speed-traveling distance calculation part 116 inputs the on-vehicle bus integration vehicle speed pulse number and calculates the vehicle speed and the traveling distance based on the on-vehicle bus integration vehicle speed pulse number.
