PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an apparatus for press-fitting a bush preventing a failure in press-fitting the bush with flanges, and its method. SOLUTION: The apparatus 10 for press-fitting a bush with flanges for press-fitting the bush 3 having a plurality of flanges 3a and 3b into a workpiece 1 includes a lubricant spraying means 14 for spraying a lubricant to a bush insertion hole 2 of the workpiece 1 while one of the flanges 3a of the bush 3 is being press-fitted and before the other flange 3b is press-fitted. Thus, galling when press-fitting the other flange 3b is prevented, and a failure in press-fitting is suppressed. COPYRIGHT: (C)2009,JPO&INPIT
