PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a vacuum cleaner which improves dust separation effect at its cyclone section and has an effect for collecting separated dust to its dust collection section. SOLUTION: This vacuum cleaner has an electric blower 7 and a cyclone dust collector 9 jointed to the sucking side of the electric blower 7. The inside of the cyclone dust collector 9 is separated with a separating board 11a into a cyclone section 9a, which separates dust from air, and a dust collecting section 9b. The cyclone section 9a has an introduction port 11b in the roughly central position of the cyclone section 9a. The introduction port 11b has a primary filter 12 which further cleans the air cleaned by the cyclone flow of the cyclone section 9a. An opening 9c formed on the dust collecting section 9b has a primary filter 18 having a smaller diameter than the primary filter 12. A secondary filter 13 for filtering the air passed through the primary filter 12 in the introduction port 11b and the air passed through the primary filter 18 in the dust collecting section 9b is placed in the upstream of the electric blower 7.
