PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an elevating/lowering type wall cabinet for a kitchen for efficiently utilizing limited space and securing storage space more than before while satisfying regulations. SOLUTION: The elevating/lowering type wall cabinet 100 includes a cabinet 170 whose lower part is opened and an elevating/lowering rack 180 to be elevated and lowered to the inside and outside of the cabinet 170 at the lower part of the cabinet 170, the cabinet 170 is provided with a nonflammable side decorative board 220 adjacent to a range hood 160 and a frame material 230 surrounding the end face of the nonflammable side decorative board 220, and the surface of the nonflammable side decorative board 220 is practically flat with the frame material 230. The cabinet 170 is further provided with a frame support board for supporting the frame material on the inner side of the nonflammable side decorative board 220.
