A driving device of plasma display panel and driving method thereof are provided to improve wrong discharge property by varying set down voltage. A reset falling signal part(-Vy+Vcc) supplies a falling lamp signal to a scan electrode. An input signal part(Logic Input) supplies a low signal or a high signal. A set down voltage comparison detector(500) detects a voltage of the falling lamp signal according to the low signal and the high signal, and compares a voltage of a detected falling lamp signal with a predetermined reference voltage. A first resistor(R1, 520) to a third resistor(R3, 540) divide the voltage of the falling lamp signal. A cutoff part(600) blocks inflow of the voltage of the falling lamp signal in the input signal part. A switching part(550) controls the voltage of the falling lamp signal. A comparator(510) compares a voltage of a controlled falling lamp signal with the predetermined reference voltage. |
