QUEUE CALCULATION SYSTEM

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To calculate queue information to an actual situation in a queue calculation system using electric field communication for transmitting and receiving information via an electric field transmission medium.

SOLUTION: The queue calculation system using electric field communication has: a portable terminal; a plurality of receivers 5 communicating with the portable terminal via the electric field transmission medium; and a managing device 8 connected to the plurality of receivers 5. The portable terminal transmits a user ID to the receiver 5 when a user touches the receiver 5. Each receiver 5 outputs ID information where a device ID indicating the installation location of the receiver is added to the user ID to the managing device 8 when receiving the user ID from the portable terminal. The managing device 8 has: a reception means for receiving ID information transmitted by each receiver 5 and storing it in a storage means by correlating its reception time to the device ID; and a calculation means for calculating the length of a user queue generated up to a destination, based on a distance between the receivers and each reception time stored in the storage means.
