FLUORESCENT LAMP, AND ILLUMINATING DEVICE WITH THE SAME

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a fluorescent lamp having suitable starting capability and long life, and to provide an illuminating device using the same fluorescent lamp.

SOLUTION: The fluorescent lamp has a light-emitting tube 4 with a glass bulb 4a of a bore diameter of 4 to 10 mm, and an electrode 4i having a straight quadruplicate winding filament coil arranged in an end of the glass bulb and a lead wire supporting the quadruplicate winding filament coil in the bulb end in a straight state.
