<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image forming apparatus capable of preventing a temperature of a document reader from getting high without using a fan, and capable of preventing heat from being transferred to a toner container. <P>SOLUTION: A copying machine 1 having an image forming part 12, a developing device 32, a fixing device 33 and a paper sheet discharge tray 34 has a ventilation flow channel member having ventilation ports (suction port 52 and exhaust port 54) opened toward an outside of the machine respectively in a device lower part and a device upper part, a branch path 53, that is one part of the ventilation flow channel member, blocks at least partially a space between the fixing device 33 and the developing device 32, and a medium passed through the fixing device 33 is discharged into the paper sheet discharge tray 34, passed through over an upper side of the branch path 53. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2009,JPO&INPIT |
