PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a display filter, capable of reducing the manufacturing cost, and a filter substrate used for the display filter. SOLUTION: The substrate of the display filter includes a transparent substrate 11, a conductive pattern part 13 provided on one side surface of the transparent substrate 11 and patterned in a predetermined shape, and a black light shielding part 211 provided between the transparent substrate 11 and the conductive pattern part 13 to shield visible light going from the transparent substrate 11 side to the conductive pattern part 13.
