PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To uniformly feed a cooling medium to a stator coil end. SOLUTION: This cooling device of a rotating electric machine includes: oil pipes 100, 200 and 300 having discharge ports 110, 112, 210, 212, 310 and 312 which are formed at the external peripheral side of a stator 102 so as to avoid holding members 150, 152 and 154, and discharge oil toward the coil end 104; and an oil pump which makes the oil circulate the oil pipes 100, 200 and 300. The discharge ports 110, 112, 210, 212, 310 and 312 are opened toward the coil end 104 between the center of a rotating shaft and the holding members 150, 152 and 154. COPYRIGHT: (C)2009,JPO&INPIT
