PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a condenser microphone having high sensitivity. SOLUTION: A condenser microphone comprises a plate 30 including a fixed electrode; a diaphragm 10 in which a central portion 12a is positioned on a side of the plate, rather than a near-end portion 12b, and a movable electrode 20 is included at the central portion 12a and which is vibrated by sound waves; and a spacer 40 which holds a near-end portion of the plate 30 and the near-end portion 12b of the diaphragm 10, while the plate 30 and the diaphragm 10 are insulated.
