PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a communication terminal which is automatically switches to a wireless communication line so as not to interrupt communication even in a case where a wired communication line is disconnected in a state that the communication terminal is connected to a battery charger. SOLUTION: In a communication terminal 101 connected to the charger 301, a wired line connection detection section 6 is provided for detecting a connected state with a wired line 31 via the battery charger 301, and a switching control section 4 is provided for controlling switching of a changeover switch 3 that selects either a wireless part 1 performing wireless communication with a base station 201 or a wired part 2 performing wired communication by connecting with a wired line 31 via the battery charger, based on the connected state with the wired line 31 detected by the wired line connection detection section 6.
