PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a foldable mobile terminal such that when the foldable mobile terminal is placed on a placing surface, a first case is prevented from being damaged without impairing the exterior appearance. SOLUTION: The first case 2 is provided with a placing leg portion 21 to be brought into contact with the placing surface 20. Then the first case 2 and a second case 3 are spread to press down one end 21a of the placing leg portion 21, and the other end 21b is projected outward from the front surface of the first case 2 to be brought into contact with the placing surface 20. The first case 2 and second case 3 are closed and the placing leg portion 21 is energized by a compression coil spring 25 (elastic member) provided to the first case 2 to return to its original position.
