PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an apparatus for the natural penetration clarification of polluted water which contributes to reduction in the volume of incinerator fly ash which is waste of a social problem, is low-cost and simple and to provide a method for using the same. SOLUTION: Provided are an apparatus for the natural penetration clarification of polluted water including a filter comprising sand recycled from incinerator fly ash and being a pile of such sand granulated by firing and a natural penetration purification method using the apparatus.
