PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a dry tobacco leaf unloader so designed that, in a situation of being easily set up on the front opening of a drying chamber, a hanging tool packed with dry tobacco leaves can be safely and easily unloaded from a high place in the drying chamber, and in accordance with the weight change of the hanging tool as dry leaves are packed in an unloading order, dry tobbacco leaves can always be safely and easily unloaded. SOLUTION: The dry tobacco leaf unloader includes a portal frame 20, lift rails 30 supported inside of their left and right supporting poles 22, a balancer 40 set up atop the portal frame 20, and a rotary damper mechanism 50 with left and right link arms 53 in between the portal frame 20 and the respective lift rails 30. The hanging tool 2 is transferred from the guide rails in the drying chamber 60 to the lift rails, and under traction by a wire, the lift rails are made to descend to an unloading position B owing to the hanging tool's own weight. Thereafter, under traction by a wire through the tensile force of a spiral spring, the lift rails are raised to the original connective position A for the guide rails and stopped by a stopper 33.
