METHOD FOR CONTROLLING THE ROTATION OF STACK WHEEL IN ATM

A stack wheel rotation control method of an automatic teller machine is provided to prevent a paper currency from being broken away from a paper currency insertion hole by rotating a stack wheel with completely inserting the paper currency in an insertion hole of the stack wheel even in case that material or bill size of the paper currency is changed. In a receipt and payment section, a stack wheel(70) for loading a paper currency in a second bill receiving space is installed. Shortly before the paper currency is inserted into an insertion hole(70a) of the stack wheel along the carrier way(2), the paper currency is detected with a detecting sensor. The paper currency is inserted into the insertion hole of the stack wheel. The backend of the paper currency inserted into the insertion hole of the stack wheel is detected by the detecting sensor(90). When the backend of the paper currency is detected by the detecting sensor, the stack wheel is rotated after set delay time progress.
