BRAKING DEVICE OF SHAFT-TYPE LINEAR MOTOR

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To realize three-dimensional floating depression with which a clamping object 52 follows deformation of a shaft 2, to bring a brake shoe 52a into face contact with an arc face of the deformed shaft by always holding the brake shoe 52a in an appropriate position and to perform braking of a moving member 3.

SOLUTION: A pair of upper and lower flat springs 54a and 54b is installed in a housing 51 by supporting them in a cantilever shape. The clamping object 52 is arranged between the flat springs 54a and 54b so that it can float against a suppression force of the flat spring 54 at the time of braking. Dislocation between the brake shoe 52a and a center of the shaft 2 is absorbed at the time of depression to the shaft 2.
