PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve the safety of a drive by the aged without burdening the driver. SOLUTION: An age estimation unit 112 estimates the age of the driver based upon a face image photographed by a photography unit 111. In a looking-aside detection unit 121, the condition of detection of looking-aside is loosely set so that as the age of the driver is higher and higher, looking-aside is detected more and more. When the driver is the aged, an obstacle detection and warning unit 132 gives a warning of an approach to an obstacle in earlier timing and an another-vehicle detection and warning unit 142 gives a warning of an approach to another vehicle in earlier timing; and a cornering control unit 152 controls cornering to pass a track outside a normal track when the vehicle turns right and a right/left confirmation warning unit 153 gives a warning when the driver does not confirm the right and left sides at an intersection.
