PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an emergency vehicle approach notification system, a device for a general car and a device for an emergency car by which it is unnecessary to achieve the maintenance of infrastructure, and it is possible to properly avoid the emergency vehicle. SOLUTION: This emergency vehicle approach notification system 1 is composed of a device 10 for an emergency car loaded on an emergency vehicle and a device 20 for a general car loaded on the general vehicle. The device 10 for the emergency car transmits emergency vehicle data through a transmitter 15, and the device 20 for the general car displays the current location, scheduled traveling route and scheduled traveling lane of the emergency vehicle at a display part 23 based on emergency vehicle data received through external communication equipment 25. Also, a control part 31 judges whether to turn on an emergency vehicle location display mode based on time change quantity (doppler change quantity)Δfr of frequency fr of a voice to be collected by a sound collection microphone 26, and judges whether to turn on the emergency lane display mode based on the current location and scheduled traveling route of the emergency vehicle.
