PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To solve a problem on poor airtightness caused by brazing of a tube insertion portion without needing additional equipment. SOLUTION: In this heat exchanger, the tube insertion holes 11 for inserting a tube end portion 4A is formed on a header tank 3 by burring process, tip end portions 12B of tube guide pieces 12 projecting inside of the tank by burring process are bent to an inner side of the tube insertion holes, and the relationship of A<B<C is satisfied where B is a width of a tube 4, C is a width of the tube insertion hole 11, and A is a width between the tip end portions 12B of the tube guide pieces 12.
