PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent contamination in a recording apparatus and on the rear surface of a printed matter caused by deposits of waste ink by avoiding the ink deposits in the waste ink absorber of in inkjet recording apparatus. SOLUTION: A plurality of waste ink absorbers are simply laminated to form particle spaces on the upper surface of the waste ink absorbers and evaporation-suppressing members are arranged on the waste ink absorbers. This can make the entire waste ink absorbers into a favorable condition for absorbing the discharged waste ink, regardless of various use environments and use methods, thereby preventing the deposits caused by the aggregation of the waste ink and the contamination in the recording apparatus and on the rear surface of printed matters prevented.
