PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an auto clear circuit capable of attaining generation of a reset signal by simpler design. SOLUTION: The circuit comprises voltage supply means 10 to be connected to a power supply terminal V1, having a power supply voltage Vcc and having a voltage supplying terminal V2 for outputting a secondary voltage Va, whose voltage is lower than the power supply voltage Vcc; a switching means 11 to be connected between the voltage supplying terminal V2; a node NN and a node NB, a voltage-dividing means 12 to be connected between a node NN and a ground terminal and for outputting a node voltage VNA which divides the voltage of the node NN; a charging and discharging means 13 to be connected between the node NB and the ground terminal and for charging and discharging the node NB, based on the node voltage VNA outputted from the voltage dividing means 12; and a latching means 14 for outputting a signal from an output terminal 15, by maintaining the voltage of the node NB and for controlling an opening and closing operation by giving the signal to the switching means 11.
