PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a design support technique capable of calculating and screen-display of a difference of attribute at a node or a point located out of the node between different shapes. SOLUTION: The device comprises an input means 11 for receiving input of data showing different first and second shape 21 and 22, a finite element model of each of shapes 21, 22, and data showing attributes of nodes of each finite element model; a superimposing means 13 for superimposing the shapes 21 and 22 displayed on a screen based on a reference site; an attribute calculation means 14 for calculating attributes Va and Vb at attribute calculation points t1 and t2 set in a predetermined position of the screen for each of the superimposed shapes 21 and 22 based on attributes of nodes P1-P3; and an attribute difference calculation means 15 for calculating a difference among the attributes of the nodes P1-P3 of the shapes 21 and 22 and a difference Vs between the attributes Va and Vb of the attribute calculation points t1 and t2.
