摘要 PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a blast furnace gas firing facility having a simple structure capable of operating the blast furnace gas firing facility at a substantially rated load while preventing freezing of a wet dust collector even under the condition where the temperature of the blast furnace becomes a freezing lower limit temperature of the wet dust collector or lower, and to provide its operating method. SOLUTION: In the blast furnace gas firing facility 1, dust contained in the blast furnace gas discharged from the blast furnace is removed by the wet dust collector 7, and the gas is compressed by a fuel gas compressor 8 and supplied to a combustor 2A to be burned. A fuel gas heating path 12 is provided between an outlet side of the fuel gas compressor 8 and an inlet side of the wet dust collector 7 or the wet dust collector 7 detecting the temperature of the blast furnace gas flowing into the wet dust collector 7, and when the temperature is a predetermined temperature or lower, recirculating the high temperature high pressure gas compressed by the fuel gas compressor 8 to the inlet side of the wet dust collector 7 or into the wet dust collector 7.
