<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a waterproofing structure of a grommet capable of easily carrying out exchange work of terminals, wires, grommets or the like. <P>SOLUTION: A protective part 42 the grommet 4 has includes a sealing part 5 for sealing an inside and an outside parts of the grommet 4 just before a rear-end opening part 42b. The sealing part 5 is so set up that it is expanded by elastic deformation in a radius-expanding direction by housing inside a flux of seven waterproof rubber stoppers 23 covering outer peripheries of wires 22 inserted into the sealing part 5, the flux of the waterproof rubber stoppers 23 is bound tight and pressed in a radius-narrowing direction by spring force generated by the deformation, and each waterproof rubber stopper 23 is compression deformed together with wires 22 covering the outer peripheral face to take on a hexagonal cross-section shape, and further, to have its inner periphery face deformed along an outer periphery of the flux of the seven waterproof rubber stoppers 23. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2009,JPO&INPIT |
