<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a low noise high performance thin centrifugal fan by forming a shroud in a new shape, and an air conditioner using the same. <P>SOLUTION: This centrifugal fan 5 is provided with the shroud 55 including a fan suction port 56 at a center part, a hub 54 having a bulge part 54a formed at the center part, and a blade 53 formed between the shroud 55 and the hub 54. An outer circumference side region in a radial direction of the hub 54 is formed in a flat surface shape on which the blade 54 is provided. The shroud 55 is formed in shape such that an interval between the hub 54 and the shroud 55 gradually reduces at first and gradually increases after the same gets to the minimum value Hm as it goes toward the outer circumference side end edge from a fan suction port 56 side end edge. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2009,JPO&INPIT |
