<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To dissolve the problem, wherein two or more pieces of copy control information coexist and recording control to a recording medium becomes complex and the disadvantage that especially the setting of copy control information in reserving recording and the change in copy control information, in executing recording according to the recording reservation, or the like, become complex. <P>SOLUTION: When reserving the recording of a program, the copy control information is set and it is indicated as information on recording reservation. Also, when the recording medium to which recording is reserved is changed, the copy control information is changed too. Also, when there is a, this change is notified to the user.
