<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a hinge assembly with simple structure and prolonged service life, and to provide an electronic device employing the hinge assembly. <P>SOLUTION: The hinge assembly and an electronic device employing the hinge assembly are provided. The hinge assembly includes a shaft and a follower, wherein one of the shaft with the follower defines a thread and forms a screw structure fastened with the thread, and the shaft and the follower slide and rotate relative to each other. The hinge assembly is that it has few components and simplifies its structure, and when opening a cover of the electronic device, impulse to a main body of the cover can be avoided by friction of the thread. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2009,JPO&INPIT</p> |
