PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To smoothly roll and travel a roller at a connecting portion between a direction-change route and a return route by way of complementarily fitting a projecting portion projecting step-wise from an edge of the direction-change route of an end cap to an end face of a pipe body to form the return route of a casing, and making different between both edges of a connecting portion of a wall face to guide an end face of the roller, in a linear motion drive guide unit. SOLUTION: A return route 10 is formed from a rectangular through-hole 22 of a longitudinal pipe body 30 introduced through a fittingly inserting hole 9 formed in a casing 3; both end faces of the pipe body 30 are connected to an end face of a projecting portion 50 that communicates from a direction-change route 20, projects from an end face 35 of an end cap 4, and is inserted and fitted into the fittingly inserting hole 9; and a wall face 77, which guides respectively roller-end faces 5E of a roller 5 at connecting portions 36 to 40 between an end face of the projecting portion 50 and an end face of the pipe body 30, is formed by a recess-projection fitting insertion complementarily each other.
