PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an asbestos removing method for a small-scale asbestos construction surface, which dispenses with large-scale curing equipment by preventing deterioration of a working environment and restricting the area of the influence of asbestos removing work to a limited area, during the asbestos removing work, and which is best suited to the removal of asbestos in a small-scale area and a specific location. SOLUTION: This asbestos removing method comprises: an asbestos separating step of forming a sealed division 4 by surrounding the outside of an area including the asbestos construction surface 1, of putting the inside of the sealed division 4 into negative pressure by means of a duct collector 5 equipped with a negative pressure generating mechanism 50 passing through a sheet material 3 or a plate material so as to suck in air in the sealed division 4, and of separating the asbestos 2 by emitting a jet of dry ice particles 6 to the asbestos 2 on the asbestos construction surface in the sealed division 4 under the negative pressure; and a duct collecting step of collecting the separated asbestos 2 by sucking in the separated asbestos 2 and the air in the sealed division 4, containing carbon dioxide gas evaporating from the dry ice particles 6, by means of the negative pressure generating mechanism 50 of the dust collector 5.
