SAFETY DEVICE OF CONSTRUCTION MACHINE

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a safety device of construction machine which can surely prevent contact between a front working machine in transportation and an airborne obstacle. SOLUTION: This safety device is equipped with a control unit 15 which comprises: a computing means for computing a front height position (H) as a position of the height of the uppermost section of the front working machine 3 from the ground when a hydraulic excavator is loaded on a loading platform of a trailer on the basis of detection signals outputted from detectors 12, 13 and 14; a determination means for determining whether or not the front height position (H) computed by the computing means is considered to be higher than a height position (D) of an electric wire outputted from an external input device 16; and an output means for outputting an alarm signal when the determination means determines that the front height position (H) is considered to be higher than the height position (D) of the electric wire.
