The invention relates to a paid retaining system for a disk brake, especially for use in utility vehicles, wherein associated brake pads are received at both sides of a brake disk in a spring-loaded manner in respective pad shafts of a stationary brake anchor plate or caliper which comprises respective pad retaining springs (3) that are permanently fixed to a pad backing plate (2) of the brake pad carrying a friction lining (1). Said pad retaining system is configured in such a manner that the pad backing plate (2) comprises at least one fastening slot (7) for fastening at least one pad retaining spring (3) on a side of the pad backing plate (2) facing away from the friction lining. |
