REFRIGERATING CYCLE DEVICE AND METHOD FOR CONTROLLING OPERATION OF THE SAME

A refrigeration cycle device for saving energy by operating while sustaining a high COP even thermal load or temperature conditions are varied, by using a refrigerant which is operated in a gas-liquid two-phase region or a supercritical region on the high pressure side. A method for controlling such device is also provided. In the refrigeration cycle device, a control means (19) sets a high pressure target value from a thermal load and temperature conditions based on refrigerant information obtained from detectors (11-18), and controls the high pressure to match a set target value by controlling at least one of the number of revolutions of a compressor (1), the opening of an electronic expansion valve (4), the number of revolutions of an outdoor fan (3), and the number of revolutions of an indoor fan (7). A threshold is provided when the high pressure target value is set, and the setting method of the high pressure target value is altered depending on whether the high pressure is above the threshold or below the threshold at a moment of setting the high pressure target value.
