SCREEN-PRINTABLE ENCAPSULANTS BASED ON POLYHYDROXYAMIDES THAT THERMALLY CONVERT TO POLYBENZOXAZOLES

摘要

A screen-printable encapsulant based on polyhydroxyamides that thermally convert to polybenzoxazoles is provided to protect an electronics device structure, especially, a built-in fired-on-foil ceramic capacitor from the exposure to the printed wiring board treatment chemicals. A screen-printable encapsulant based on polyhydroxyamides that thermally convert to polybenzoxazoles forms benzoxazoles in heating and comprises at least one polybenzoxazoles and an organic solvent among screen printing solvents. The screen-printable encapsulant coats an electronics device.
