<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for browsing images using a keyboard, which can be simply implemented and bring a new interactive manner and an experience to users. <P>SOLUTION: The method for browsing images by using a keyboard comprises steps of: A. dividing an image to be browsed into image blocks corresponding to keys in a one-to-one correspondence according to a key disposition of a keyboard of a current apparatus; B. determining a picture block corresponding to a currently pressed key by sensing the position of the pressed key; and C. selecting a mode for enlarging image, and enlarging the image with the center of the image block determined in step B as its basis point. The system for browsing images is also disclosed by using a keyboard.
