<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a toilet for an animal, which can smoothly open or close a movable hood, even if the space between the movable hood and a fixed hood is small. <P>SOLUTION: This toilet 1 for the animal, having an excretion container 2 whose upper side is opened, and a hood 3 disposed above the excretion container 2 for covering the opening, is such that the hood 3 has a fixed hood 31 disposed on one end side of the excretion container 2, a movable hood 32 disposed on the other end side of the excretion container 2, and a pair of connecting portions 33, 33 connected rotatably to the movable hood; the movable hood 32 is disposed to rotate on the outside or inside of the fixed hood 31, in a state such that the edge end of at least one side is adjacent to the fixed hood 31 at a prescribed distance; and a protruding control portion 6 for controlling the distance between the end edge of one end side in the movable hood 32 and the fixed hood 31 to a value smaller than a prescribed distance is disposed. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2009,JPO&INPIT |
