<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an inverter controller which can be protected easily at low cost, and to provide a heat pump type hot water supply apparatus equipped with the inverter controller. <P>SOLUTION: The inverter controller (1) being supplied with power from an AC power supply (14) and performing variable control of the operating frequency (24) of a motor (22) depending on the load comprises a means for detecting the number of operational revolution (N<SB>R</SB>) of the motor, and a controller (20) for controlling the operational frequency based on the comparison of an output duty (D) dependent on the number of operational revolution detected by the number of revolution detection means and a reference duty (D<SB>T</SB>) dependent on the target number of revolution (N<SB>S</SB>) of the motor. When the number of operational revolution is smaller than the target number of revolution, the controller acquires a regulation duty (D<SB>R</SB>) dependent on the target number of revolution and performs overload reduction processing of the motor when the output duty is above the regulation duty. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2009,JPO&INPIT |
