<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To simplify configuration for attaching and detaching a developing unit, drum unit, intermediate transfer unit and toner container, to and from a body frame, and also to improve the removal workability thereof. <P>SOLUTION: The developing unit 40A is mounted, making it lower along guide grooves b5, or the like, formed at intermediate portions 74b, 75b of left and right side plates 74, 75 of the body frame 6, and the drum unit is mounted by descending along guide grooves b6, or the like. The intermediate transfer unit is mounted, by using guides formed at lower half portions of front edge sides of upper portions 74c, 75c. The toner container is mounted by making it lower along guide grooves c8, or the like, of the upper half portions of the upper portions 74c, 75c.
